My first attempt at this contest.  My plans to operate from a waterlogged
shed looked increasingly doubtful when considering the WX that we were
expecting and the need to get some sleep as well!  So I am very grateful to
Neville, G3NUG for allowing me to exercise his station on CW for the weekend!
Conditions, even for this relative novice on 160 m op, seemed to be rather
poor.
I see that I have missed a number of the multipliers that were about the
band, but I am reasonably pleased with the W/VE mults.
While I have some sympathy for G4BUO's feelings on the lack of a serial
number exchange, I found it B***dy hard enough getting some of the
callsigns out of the ether!  I think the added challenge of a serial number
might have reduced the overall numbers of participating stations.  I would
have preferred a Friday afternoon start as it used to be, but in the end it
was fun, which is the main thing.

Not having any dedicated receiving antennas made life a little difficult,
especially to North America.  The concept of "The weak G" is one I can
understand, however I had to get used to a new concept of "The Weak W" this
weekend!  Even KC1XX was piss weak when they called me.
Very pleased to work VK6LW on Sunday night and N7JW in Utah.  ZS4TX was a
super signal at his sunrise.
