Steve,
The mapping software you're thinking of is probably Geoff GW3ATZ's,
it can be found at

Subject: [UK-CONTEST] Post contest analysis
Hi all,
I am looking for a bit of software that does post contest analysis of
VHF contests eg QSOs vs QTF, points vs QTF etc etc. The software we
used (N1MM) doesn't provide that and I would like to do a statistical
comparison of this years VHF FD site with the one we used last
year. Does such a thing exist?
Secondly: Someone produced a bit of s/w to make QSO maps from SDV
logs. I saw it mentioned in RADCOM. Does anyone know where I can find
that? Paul? It is a shame that it doesn't work with .adif files then
lots more people could use it!
Condx for VHF FD seemed pretty poor. Many less QSOs than last yaer, but
5T5SN on 6m makes up for some of that. Full report to follow.
