Hi,

I have also been lookinginto Multi-op logging software for IOTA and found no logging software suitable.

We have found this NOT to be the case with Writelog. I am going to test it again though to be 100% certain. Recently we tested it and the serial number shown does not increment properly if the mulitplier also logs a station. So you have to enter the contact fully before you have a fixed serial number.

Chris can you double check your setup and results? We found that if the multiplier starts to log a station while you are entering a contact on the run station then the multiplier gets the SAME number as the run station.

So our test was:

1) Main station starts to enter contact E.g. G...
2) Serial number is displayed for main as 100
3) Main station gives out serial number 100 and continues filling in callsign details
4) Mulitplier starts to enter a callsign before main is finished and multiplier is also shown 100
5) Multiplier gives out serial number 100 and the fun starts..

Chris can you confirm you do not have this problem?

Last year we gave up on using 2 computers for logging IOTA as all the ones we tried do not reserve the number properly as you are entering details.

Operators got confused giving out the wrong number or delayed giving out a number until the contact was fully typed in.

Ray wrote his own software

Ray can you email me a copy of your software and state what OS is needed etc.?
I don't expect any further support etc as I'm sure you have better things to do.

Thanks in advance,

PS We will be at Inis Oirr off the west coast of EI probably using EJ5E as the callsign.
