[UK-CONTEST] CW Letters instead of Numbers

I have never ever heard e being sent for 5 and that would definitely
floor me for a few seconds. In addition I found (as a weak QRP
station) that the other station seemed to have difficulty copying my
serial if I sent (say) 6T7 but got it first time when I changed to
607.

The abbreviation may well help save the sender a second per QSO but
it hardly helps if a significant number of operators fail to get it
the first time and ask for a repeat.
