[UK-CONTEST] CW Letters instead of Numbers

Incidentally, it's only about three years ago that the following immortal
words appeared in the WPX contest write up "As from next year we will be
checking serial numbers". So a few years ago this thread wouldn't even have
been relevant - you could log any number you darn well pleased!
