Hi all,

Hhhmm. Could (should) have done better in this one, but I found it hard to
find new ones to work.
The band seemed very noisy here, so I missed a few as I simply couldn't pick
them out of the high noise level.

I'm not sure why my callsign causes so much confusion! I was called as GM,
GI and GJ, which slows everything down, and this by some guys I have worked
before.

I was going to call CQ, but the one time I tried, I got a call after a few
minutes, but they never returned with my report, and then I got told to QSY
from the net freq. I did try another CQ, but got the same response, so I
went back to S&P.

It all started very well, and my rate was good (for me on CW!!) but after 20
minutes, it really slowed down. In the end, I made 45 QSO's.

Looks as though I was the only GU for this one! I did note the comments in
the results listings of the last CW evening, where one chap said he was
surprised to be worked by 3 GU's!!

I will miss out on the SSB evening next week (thank goodness!) as I am
starting the journey to Friedrichshafen, along with 7 other GU's.
I will be staying at the Hotel Goldenes Rad, and will attend the Hamradio
event on the Saturday, where I plan to catch the 3B9C lecture.
If any of you are attending the event, keep an eye out for us, and maybe we
can share a beer or three.

73 to all
Phil GU0SUP
