I completely forgot about this one until late sunday afternoon -
Someone poke me with a stick next time there's going to be a 160m
contest - I just had time for 2 or 3 hours on sunday evening - what a
blast!!

I couldn't believe how many people were saying 'thanks for the
multiplier', its nice to be wanted. I only went on expecting to make a
handful of qsos and ended up with 80+. D4B and CN2R were nice and gave
me hope for something more distant but nothing better heard. (I'm still
new at 160 so anything is exciting :-)

Like Stewart though I couldn't believe how deaf some people were, what
were they using, a crystal set?? SY8A was 9+ and each time I called him
he was just cqing when I went to receive. I started to think some
people had left the auto voice sender on and gone away...

Cheers
Andy
