Seems more worrying than I thought.  I remember working Pete Cochrane G3RVC
in the early 60s on 160m CW & AM!

It appears that at the moment they are just in Winchester and
Stonehaven. These are full scale trials of up to 1000 users. There
were earlier trials at Crieff, not sure whether these are still
running.

A Google search reveals quite a lot of information about these (all
very pro from the electricity board's point of view) and some more
cynical comments particularly from Peter Cochrane (ex BT).

I would have expected to see some more active investigation of the
interference levels around Winchester from the RSGB but nothing much
seems to be happening.
