Three sections have worked for some time in NFD and are not
unreasonable. The old idea of having station codes probably failed
because it used obscure codes which needed to be checked against the
specification in the rules - I remember I could never find the
definitions and hence didn't bother filling them in. Also mixing up
all the categories did not make for easy comparison in the results.
This has happened to some extent in last year's IOTA when the QRP
entries were mixed among the other categories (though I remember they
are seperated out in the website report).

With regard to the support for the low power section of the club
contests look at the current placings on the hfcc site. It is
certainly a much smaller section but well supported (and I guess
there are more who haven't submitted logs..). Three of the entrants
from there in the CW leg are in fact from our own club, Bracknell
ARC, and you will notice also that we are very well up in the overall
club table - in fact this was from a single entry in the February
event, only one of our stations was on in March CW as it clashed with
our club evening. Trying to get some support for the other modes but
it is a hard battle with our club getting them actually on the air...
