Were you on 10? If so I could possibly hear you up here in GM- I heard
a GU at one point but didn't note the callsign, I just remember thinking
it was a callsign I'd not heard before and a shame they probably
wouldn't hear me as I needed GU on 10.

And how come those CPs and OAs (and others) were S9 on the meter but
never heard me even when no-one else was apparantly calling them (or was
it that they already had the mult and couldn't be bothered?). On the
other hand 9j2kc was only about s3 here but heard me first time - nearly
fell off my chair.

>ME: GOLF UNIFORM 4 WHISKY TANGO NOVEMBER GOLF UNIFORM 4 WHISKY
TANGO
>NOVEMBER
>DX: OK GU4WTN 59 zz
>What a wonderful creation!

I prefer that to what happened to me on more than one occasion.

Spend half an hour calling some DX station and finally:

DX: The GOLF MIKE EIGHT GO:

ME: GOLF MIKE EIGHT OSCAR ECHO GOLF, GERMANY MEXICO EIGHT ONTARIO
ENGLAND GERMANY.. (no one gets echo!)

DX: KILO 3 DELTA... YOURE 59 10 (or 8 or ) QRZ .... (and back to the
pileup with never another thought for the gm8)

As John Cleese said, "The despair I can stand, its the hope that
crucifies me"

>That aside, I enjoyed the weekend and look forward to the CW leg.

Me too!
