For Sale: AEL Portable 40m/80m SSB Transceiver

This portable LSB transceiver is ideal for Summit On The Air, RAYNET, Worked
All Britain, QRP mountain-top DXing, and other types of portable HF voice
operation. It is manufactured by AEL, model number 'SBX-11A', and was
originally used for commercial operating. Powered by 9 x 'D' cells, or an
external 12v DC power source, the transceiver is completely self contained.
It will connect to any 50 ohm tuned antenna, such as a vertical or dipole.
It has 4 channels, set by internal crystals. The current frequencies are
7052.5, 7061.9, 7082.5, and 7092.5, but these can be altered with other
crystals. 80 metres (3.6Mhz) is also possible with supplied coils. Controls:
Volume, Clarifier, Channel, Tune, and an output meter. It has its own
microphone with PTT button hardwired to the front panel, and a panel-mounted
loud speaker. The exact RF power output is not known, but thought to be 3 -
5W.
Supplied with h/b PL-259 adaptor.

Approx size: 205w x 320d x 85h mm. Total weight without batteries: approx
2.75kg.
