Ah yes, those cursed dits and the problem with J & 5. I well remember the
many enjoyable qsos I had with Joe, K3J5 back in the early 70's. Old Joe
was a great rag chewer and a lovely guy but he could never quite get the
hang of his call. I'm sure it must have been his archangel who blessed the
vanity programme and opened the path for him to become N3EA, which he was
able to paddle faultlessly ;-))
There were keyboard senders back then but I'm sure the idea of using one
would make Joe turn in his grave. God rest him.
