[UK-CONTEST] Too many contests.

The recent re-emergence of national identity in so many places makes the
desire for "our" contest unstoppable, indeed it would be churlish to
discourage it.  Anyway what's wrong with the WARC bands, which are available
for DXing and ragchewing 52 weeks of the year?

One of our principle aims should in any event be to continually strive to
improve the performance of our stations and the regular availability of all
these contests provides excellent opportunities to try them out.  I really
don't see where the problem is.

One might argue that the WARC bands are a tad narrow for the whole world to
ragchew on SSB, but this grossly inefficient mode is of course now on the
way out (Sunday AM 80m nets perhaps excepted), with the advent of free
internet VOIP . . .
