[UK-CONTEST] MP1000M Mk.V

G'day,

A friend of mine VP8LP has his hands on a MP1000-M Mk.V, however, it has a 
problem:

The main RX is about 20dB down on the secondary RX when in SSB or CW modes 
but plays the same on AM and FM.

Also the TX is down the same.  All the other functions seem to play OK, 
attenuator, IPO etc.

Sadly the user manual doesn't have a block diagram which would be useful 
to determine where the signal paths diverge for the filters and detectors.

We have done a reset to factory defaults just in case the last owner did 
something stupid.  No change.  He did use it to great effect during the 
Peter 1 operation without problems.

Does Yaesu have the technical manual available on-line?
