Sorry, I had misunderstood that. While I'd encourage everybody to join 
CDXC - and GMDX, of course - it's regrettable that there is still no 
open UK forum for general matters related to HF DX.

This list is open to all, but is supposed to be about contesting; the 
yahoo group is more general, but is not open to all; and UK-specific 
topics tend to get lost in the world-wide groups.
