Hello Ed,
Thanks for comments on RoPoCo. It was championed
by your name-sake, G3XTJ, until his untimely death. I
always loved the challenge of accurate logging &
sending. Also the reason for WAE's huge success.
I have not entered for several years because a) I am
seldom awake at that unGodly hour on a Sunday
morning and b) there are, as you say, not enough
participants to keep it interesting for more than an hour.
But I agree it would be a very sad day if it were killed off.
So how about learning from the 80m CC experience?
Run RoPoCo for 90 minutes, instead of two hours, and
on a mid-week evening. 80m CC finishes in July so
dates for RoPoCo could be found later in the year.
