Conditions were pretty grim. Didn't bother going all night. Heard folk working JA's and VK's that I just could not hear on Sat evening. Tried a Helikite supported vertical (about 140ft) as the wind managed to stay calm during the contest - not so before or now. Managed to work 273 Q's for 1413 points in 8 hours. Called LOTS of US stations who never heard me. Strangely, this morning around sunrise N2IC (in DM52 - New Mexico?) was louder (well, more above the noise) on the dipole than the beverages or the vertical. It's beyond me.

FT1000mp, 91b, dipole, 1/4 vertical, 2 x Ewe, 2 x Bev.
