The Irish Radio Transmitters Society (IRTS) launches its
75th Anniversary celebrations on New Year's Day with the
80 metre Counties Contest. 
All counties in Ireland, North and South, are expected to
be active in this event, and contest QSOs count towards a
special Jubilee Year edition of the Worked All EI Counties
(WAEI) Award. QSOs for this award must be made during 2007,
but QSLs are NOT required. 
The contest takes place from 12:00 to 14:59 on Monday
1st January.  It's a 80m single-op event (or multi-op for
portable stations operating under Field Day conditions) on
both CW and SSB.

SD supports this event.  V13.11 runs on any Windows PC,
and is free from www.ei5di.com/sd/sdsetup.exe.
EI/GI entrants:  Select SD's "IRTS County, EI/GI" template.
Other entrants:  Select SD's "IRTS County, DX" template.
Use SDCHECK (Option 1) to prepare your .LOG file in
Cabrillo format.  Email it, as an attached file, to
contests at irts.ie.
