Adrian ,
In addition to Dave's comments, also look around for "touch" lamps.
They are lamps which you simply touch to turn on and off.
They come in a variety of designs, bedside, desk lamp etc.
Not quite sure how you get to check your neighbours bedside lamps though!
Good luck
Mike GU4EON
Happy New Year to all.

Subject: [UK-CONTEST] Wide Band Noise
Happy New Year to everyone...
This morning, whilst in the shack at the ungodly hour of 6:30, I noticed
that I have
a new noise source. From 3.2Mhz to 5.8Mhz (Peaking at 3.5MHz) I have a solid
5/9 of Noise. At the peak its 5/9+ 20 .
I have done the usual, switch everything in the shack off, one by one, to
eliminate anything in here. No joy. Disconnecting the aerial / swapping
aerials does not reduce the noise. (Except when no aerial is connected Hi!).
Anyone come accross hash like this before ?
Thanks
Adrian Rees (M1LCR)
