As far as the USA is concerned, ARRL made the decision a couple of
years ago to only publish line scores online, apart from their Field
Day and another domestic contest which escapes me. That said though,
the February issue (which arrived a full week before RadCom) has six
pages of contest news - two of these for the contest calendar, and
the rest for the results of the 2005 IARU contest. The latter has the
top 10 for the various sections (with a prominent entry for G3YMC)
and the USA and continental leaders. But not the full line scores.
Some months there is nothing but the calendar.

On the whole I think RadCom does a reasonable deal when there are
plenty of other avenues to get the information these days. But I do
feel some months they digress a lot from real radio, and this month
is no exception. I notice they seem to be struggling to get any real
news on GB2RS, with quite a lot of totally off subject topics and the
very dated information that HZ1AB has closed down. In that respect
the ARRL Letter I get by email knock the socks off it.

But we are all allowed our own opinions, and must also realise there
is more to amateur radio than contests.
