[UK-CONTEST] Good news

Well it has been at least 24 hours since I have seen a 
winge/comment/observation about RadCom and UK contesting in general so 
things must be looking up!

To add to this uplift in conditions I am pleased to tell you that at the 
RSGB Board meeting last Saturday it was agreed to co-opt Don Field G3XTT 
to the Board to oversee the Radio Sports interests within the Society.   
Based on the (to my mind) very successful Spectrum Forum the Radio 
Sports Forum will embrace all aspects of amateur radio competitive 
elements within the Society and will provide a much needed linkage into 
the Board.

Don will obviously need some time to get things on a firm footing but 
I'm sure that all of you out there will have plenty of ideas to 
offer...........won't you?

Meanwhile the Radcom situation is being addressed but is at an early stage.
