For the SSB ops out there, I wonder how many have converted to using
Writelog or N1MM & audio output from the PC instead of going down the
hardware route & purchasing a voice keyer , decent headset etc..
I noticed the increasing number of stand alone software effects
processors including parametric graphic eq, noise gate etc.. which work 
on realtime input ( small delay -depends on speed of PC )
that are available to download off the net. Could be a nice way to 
crispen up
that contest audio & stop that noisy blower from tripping the vox
without spending loads on hardware.
I tested the "Anwidasoft" graphic eq pro & seemed to work well with just
a PC headset.
On another note.. For those looking for decent microphones for use with 
PC, Samson do
USB condenser mic ( C010 ) which I've seen for £50.
