A moderately serious effort from here. Did both nights from 0000 onwards, but tied up both Saturday and Sunday evenings (not good that Saturday was my son's birthday!), so missed many of the mults to the east (JA JT 9K UK9 for example). Did work the 4J, and caught PJ2, KP2, KG4, KP4, PY, 3V, 7X, ZC4, etc. HI was another gotaway. Best US DX was N7DD (AZ). I recall the days when 5B4 was a rare one on 160, but worked 3 of them this weekend, as well as ZC4LI.

Activity in this contest seem quite high nowadays. It used to finish mid-afternoon Sunday, of course, and I had always expected when they extended it to midnight Sunday that the last few hours would be dire. But GU4YOX seems to have had a ball on Sunday evening. I was only on for the last hour, but had a steady stream of callers, including quite a few W/VE.

The bottom line:

G3XTT: 811 QSOs 102 mults (66 country and 36 state/province) 484,092 points (my best ever in this event, if I recall correctly)

Station: FT-1000 MkV, Quadra, Inv-L with 80ft vertical, logging with SD/WINKEY.
