[UK-CONTEST] Draft of new licence

Don,

The re-introduction of /A was at the behest of the Society as a result
of a number of members requesting it. It is primarily to cater for
those with holiday homes and similar requirements and has nothing to do
with more stringent location requirements. We also tried to move
pedestrian operation into /P as it used to be but cellphone etiquette
has prevailed and it is still /M.

There will be, we have been told, an automatic reminder sent out when
the licence is due for re-validation.

Apart from that, glad you like the results. There was a lot of work
put in by various people including David G3UEG. Incidentally David,
Clause 10(5) originally banned ANY usage of amateur frequencies for
remote operations. At least this is now a Full licencee 'perk' as are
a number of other items.

Not all our suggestions were accepted but the hands of the lawyers came
into operation toward the end.
