Well I was not one of those members who specifically expressed an 
interest to reintroduce /A, but I fully agree with the change. The 
specific case which comes to mind was when I was visiting GW4ALG 
quite a few years ago when NFD was on and I was tempted to go on and 
make a few QSOs from his shack. The option to use /A was not there, 
so I went on as GW3YMC/P and created quite a lot of interest. Pity 
under the NFD rules everybody I worked claimed the /P bonus points 
blissfully unaware I was nice and warm and all mains powered.
So yes, it is a reasonable change, and I am surprised by the outrage 
shown by some on here.
