As a participant in the 21/28 MHz SSB contest last October I agree with Dave's comments.

After talking about this to Chris G3SJJ at GB5HQ last weekend he told me that some years ago the HFCC decided that results would not be published on the website until they had been printed in Radcom. If this ruling is still in place in my opinion it needs reviewing, owing to the long lead times and apparent lack of cooperation regarding the printing of results promptly, and the space available for what some perceive as a minority interest. The internet has also moved on a lot since this was discussed, most of us are on Broadband, and we use it regularly on and off all day.

Not only is the delay in seeing these results affecting this contest it is also affecting the outcome of the HF Championship, which I went out to try and win last year. Will I go to the HF Convention in October? I don't know yet, but having a cup to collect would mean that I would book now, but can't due to the delay in results, so I am undecided.

Regarding Dave's suggestion about this factor encouraging people to lose interest in RSGB HF Contests, it is certainly having that effect on me.
