I am in 100% agreement Bob. Looking at the upcoming contests :
SSB FD in early September, results should be easily ready by the end of
September, might just want delay updating website until after displayed
at HF convention to entice a few more people there.
New 21/28MHz is the week before HFC so it should be possible to keep a
rolling list as the entries come in for display. In any case, final
results on website by end of October. (Don't give me the claptrap about
overseas entrants taking a long time to submit)
Club Calls Contest and 2 1.8MHZ Contests early/mid November, both final
results on website by end of November.
For SSB FD, CCC and 2nd 1.8MHz, the entrants are fairly well defined and
regular participants. Previous years tabulation just requires updating
as logs are received. Which leaves enough time to spend on chasing poor
format logs and number crunching. These three are probably the easiest
to produce quick results.
CW AFS should be end of Jan quickly followed by SSB AFS. 1st 1.8MHz
should be end of Feb or very soon afterwards.
This is what I term Marketing. Getting the results out quickly to keep
the punters happy. (Return business etc)
PS, why now Trophy for 21/28MHZ mixed mode. Just looks like old trophies
transfered to new contest without any thought!
