An important point Alex.  In the interests of clarity I confirm:

My comments should in no way be interpreted as critical of the efforts of 
those people who organise and adjudicate UK contests. I wholeheartedly 
appreciate the volunteer efforts of this group, for the significant 
contribution made to the health and future of UK contesting.

My comments are aimed squarely at the matter of current policy, which 
prevents timely publication of event results and constitutes a threat to the 
health of UK contesting.
