OK ; so following Dave's note and Chris' ; I have bitten !
Dave - I resigned from the Committee this year; for reasons known to the
Committee (Strictly speaking, I was a corresponding member anyway, but in
recent times that label could be said for all of the Committee)..... I
agreed to honour my commitments in all events up to the end of 2005;
following publication of the results. I was responsible for the formatting
of the data for certificate printing; following publication.
I was never made aware that there was an issue with the printing of the
2003 certificates; had I been, then anyone who requested a replacement would
have got one. Because I copy info from 1 year to the next, the same mistake
happened in 2004. IN this case it is not the incompetence of HQ, but
unfortunately mine Well; I think finger trouble! SO Edward has my sincere
apologies; if anyone requests to me a replacement certificate I will include
it in the next batch , corrected........ You will have noted that this
mistake only happened in the SSB event; and not the CW one.
BTW (2) - I only scanned over Manfred's claimed score; but I can assure you
that whilst we could be lumped into a 750W category; we only had a FT1000MP
to transmit with ! So unless you know a trick to make it run for 24 hours
at that power level, with no other assistance........ I will send a note to
Manfred !

Tom,
Tnx for letting us know that the volunteer adjudicators are not to blame
- don't think most of us did think that anyway!
Since everyone who has responded to this thread has been of the same
view, perhaps the dinosaurs will take note.
Assuming I am in the Caribbean again in October, it won't be much of a
problem deciding what to support - WAG, JOTA or the RSGB 21/28 Contest.
BTW(1), my son recently received his Certificate for leading QRP stn in
2004. Just like his similar cert for 2003 it states "RSGB 21/81 MHz SSB
Contest"
I was surprised to note that M3's were licensed for Band 2 - very
surprised their 10w can be heard over Radio 2! Must be correct though,
they are both signed by the President!
BTW(2) Surprised to see in the DARC FD claimed scores that Lichfield
were in the QRO (750W) section!
Dave
