[UK-CONTEST] Enough already!

1. I contest because I enjoy it, not to win it, because with a small
garden a Cobwebb and a 9m vertical wire I ain't got a snowballs chance
in hell!

2. I contest because it's a great time to score new DXCC entities.

3. Number 2 being the case, I love BERU because it gives little pistols
like me a chance to work great DX without competing against Vlad in
Moscow or Dieter in Berlin. BERU is not about high rates, it's about
guile, cunning, skill and ability - long may it continue. I can work G's
any day of any week but ZL's on 40m with a vertical 9m wire, no.

4. Lets not loose sight of what contesting and particularly BERU is
about...enjoyment.

5. Well done the GB5HQ squad! Jeezus, you lot are developing as big a
fixation with the German IARU team as the football pundits have about
the German football team!

Right, I'm glad I got that off my chest, any chance these long lingering
threads could be allowed to die?
