Excellent Frank

1  - Why not enjoy it AND go to win. Too many people do the Brit thing. 
Isn't there a /P (/A?) site you could use. I recall back in the late 70s 
driving around 200 miles over 3 separate journeys to firstly set up a 
station, then to do the contest and then to dismantle. All for 4 hours 
in the RSGB 160m contest and in winter.

2 - Excellent

3 - Great if you don't mind wasting a weekend for a few QSOs. Me? I'm 
retired so I am too busy.

4 - Yep, it's all about having fun and getting the best possible result, 
moving up the ladder, being competitive,

5 - Well, if they can cheat and no one cares, why shouldn't we? Back to 
Tom's self flagellation.  Da Vinci Code all over again.

I do hope you can make the HF Convention. This banter is even better 
after a few beers or more!
