Hi,
Interesting note below. It can't be cheap to produce and send all those booklets. We all have different views on how and why a printed results booklet is important - this seems to be a way to try to quantify how many people feel it a "must have", "nice to have", or if they "couldn't care less" and thus the organisers get a slightly better grasp whether the returned benefits justify the outlay.
I realise such surveys won't be perfect with a relatively low sample, and only those who feel most affected by the proposal likely to respond. Similar surveys could try to discover more about other potentially thorny subjects like full line score publishing, web versus print results etc.
Nice move by the BCC too to have a specific "Public Relations" officer.
