[UK-CONTEST] RS232 1 Radio / 2 computers

I have a requirement to network 2 x computers to one FT1000MP so that they
can both read the frequency off the same radio using N1MM as the contest
logger via RS232

 

Basically, I want to organise "Big Knob Little Knob" (2OSR = 2 Ops Single
Radio!).

 

Has anyone done this? Will it work with a Y cable..?
