[UK-CONTEST] IOTA from the other side of the world

Dear UK Contesters

I managed a wonderful, single contact in IOTA with my 5W and a 48" whip antenna sitting next to the Pacific Ocean in the south west corner of California, USA at Mission Beach, San Diego. (10 Miles from XE) My contact was in AZ. It was however quiet here on 20M, but KL7's do exist in quite some number. But saying that, the only EU signals I heard in order of strength on 20M were:

G6PZ 
G4BJM
G3TXF

On 40M I think I pulled out G7N (weak but I think that was correct)

These were all in the morning here on the west coast.

Back to the pool and bar now,
