Chunkier still is the Spiderbeam 12m pole. It's actually a bit shorter 
than 12m, but standing up very well at this exposed QTH with a bit of 
help from some binder twine.

The top section is 8mm so it supports an inverted-V much better than the 
SQ or the DX-wire which taper to 3mm. Big difference in price, though, 
79 Euro as opposed to 49 for the DX-Wire one. At that price I'd have 
liked to see some reinforcing rings on the lower sections.
