The John Dunnington trophy is extra super-welcome and many thanks to HF and
Contests Committee for introducing it. The vast majority of UK amateurs run
100W to a vertical/dipole/doublet/G5RV and it's great to have a contest that
I actually can fancy my chances in... at least until I hear G3LET sending
serial numbers double mine.

The only real problem with the John Dunnington is that G3LET won it last
year. As this aerial is much better than the one I had up last March, I'll
be seeing what I can do to rectify that disappointing situation. ;-)

PS - I agree with Peter it would be interesting to have a parallel trophy
open to all Commonwealth stations, effectively producing three sections
(Open/Restricted/100W-Single Element) with overall and UK winners.

PPS - oh yeah, the Commonwealth Contest is really boring, except for all the
DX you work in it.
