As of today, individual Belgian amateurs can apply for a secondary 2x1
vanity callsign with all possible ITU-prefixes for Belgium. OT5x and OR5x
however are reserved for club stations.
It is quite possible that calls like ON1A, OP2Q, OS7Z, OO0O (hi) etc show up
on the bands.
Primary focus is contesting but also applicable to every day DXing. So
don't be confused or think of a pirate, these calls are 100% legal. They
fall under CEPT agreement.

Remark:
ON3x is a HAREC vanity cal.
ON3xx or ON3xxx is a foundation license call.

FYI the vanity call is additional to the main call and a 2x1 cannot replace
a normal call, and there is a supplemental fee of also 55euro; so people
applying for a 2x1 pay a double fee (110 Euros, ouch!).
