Jonathan

I recommend that you get RSGB to QSP them to your own QSL
manager. That's what we did for GW7X, when the route you
mentioned totally failed.

Subject: [UK-CONTEST] Short contest calls QSL bureau
sub-manager
contact?

Hi all,

Does anyone have an email address or other contact details
for the
Short Contest Calls QSL bureau sub-manager? I have him
listed as Mr.
Rose Bunce and an email address m1ebnrose at aol.com which
bounces (or
should I say "bunces" - groan!)

He wrote to me at the start of 2006 saying that a cheque for
postage
and packing was needed because there was a huge backlog from
the
bureau which was too big for the normal envelopes to cope
with. I
wrote to him offering alternative ways to collect the cards
for M4U
and received no reply. I now seem to have no valid contact
for him
at all. I am not sure I trust the postal address I find
for M1EBN
on any websites etc. having got no reply to my last missive.

Is anyone else with a short contest call receiving cards
from the
bureau?
I am concerned that cards may be backing up in large
quantities
either at his place or elsewhere, or worse still being
destroyed - we
(HARIG @ M4U) don't actually want cards but do have a policy
of 100%
reply to cards we receive.

Any news/info on the missing QSL sub-manager appreciated.
Thanks,

73,
Jonathan G0DVJ
