Out of interest, he lives two doors away from my Mum's old bungalow 
(she was at 5 Pinnings Lane). Mum died in 2003 and I have not been 
back lately, I think he moved in there just before then but never 
knew he was an amateur or met him. There certainly were no antennas 
visible. But the address and postcode is correct (in so far as the 
house and postcode exist!).

I did try and email him myself once and got the same bounce as you 
did. It is a shame that some of the addresses kept on the RSGB list 
seem out of date. My manager doesn't even have email.
