Not quite sure what you mean by 'leaving out callsign in TU messages' - the 
'+' key can be configured to whatever you like (default is TU + own call) as 
can the 'Insert' key, with zero delay/space between the call and exchange if 
you wish (not a good idea)

I disagree about the 'speed up' - I think Jose CT1BOH has had quite a lot of 
input on the 'Operating techniques' side of WT and many of his ideas are 
worth copying. On the basis that a G station will always be in Z14, then the 
5nnA4 is wasted time and should be sent as fast as possible - anyone 
listening to your pile-up for more than a few seconds will know that this is 
how you are sending the exchange and the 'speed-up' might just help them 
know when you are actually transmitting (assuming the pile-up are not all WT 
users, hi)  It's easy to remove the 'speed-up' anyway.

I'm guessing most of your concerns about WT will disappear once you have 
used it in a major event like WW CW ?
