Anyone feeling adventurous might take the train - it's only half an hour 
from Victoria to Gatwick Airport station and the hotel will pick you up and 
drop you there at any time of the day or night.

Probably quicker than driving from anywhere within reasonable range of the 
big Northern/Midlands cities.
