[UK-CONTEST] Dedicated RX Antenna, Isolation?

OK a question from a newbie to you Contest diehards.

For the first time I am in the fortunate position of having a separate
Rx Antenna (Beverage).

My question is...
Does one need to take any special precautions with the K2
(or any other rigs, TS950SD,  TenTec Omni6) to protect the Rx front end 
from radiated power from
the TX antenna ERP.
Tx  Ant is a Vertical without...  a huge amount of physical separation,

Advice pse?
