[UK-CONTEST] Contest results

Hi all,

Having just read the comment from Peter G3LET, and the response from Clive
GW3NJW, I am a little shocked to think that the RSGB feel that contesting is
of little or no importance.
Whilst I understand that contesting is just a part of our hobby, it is
important to those of us who enter contests.

I seem to recall that Don G3XTT was appointed by the RSGB to promote the DX
and contesting side of the hobby, so maybe he needs to take this point to
the board, and see if there is a way to get RadCom to include more contest
results.
Each time I read the contesting reports page, it seems to me that it only
really covers VHF and above contests, and there is scant mention of the many
HF contest results that are published.
I wonder what Tim VXE makes of these comments?

Maybe extra results could fill a few extra pages, making RadCom a more
satisfying read? Then again, as Clive suggested, maybe fuller results could
be published on a RSGB webpage?
Does it have to be limited to RSGB contests? Why not publish the
results/positions of all the G's that were listed?

Then again, if it went in RadCom, this may just be a cause for another
section to moan, suggesting that the RSGB is only interested in contesting!

Oh well..................
