[UK-CONTEST] Log entries

I think it could grow even more - I *really* like the suggestion in the 
recent Radcom of some shorter events. I'm sure there are many amateurs like 
me with busy family lives etc. who could never hope to have 24/48hrs free to 
do a contest. Consequently, I rarely enter HF contests, but do more VHF ones 
e.g the 3hr 50MHz one last weekend was perfect, and I'll be doing the 6hr 
144MHz one next month - I can just about negotiate that amount of time off 
with the XYL and little 'un :-)

Don't get me wrong, I see the validity of 24/48hr contests and like to 
participate in them myself as part of a group, but I reckon you'd get more 
people contesting with an additional few short events throughout the year.
