We know that Contesting is growing fast. The "Anti-Contest Brigade" prefer to ignore this fact. One way of demonstrating the growth is with the number of log entries. So I have compiled these numbers for the past ten years for 29 of the biggest contests. Growth has been:

RTTY +213% (over treble)
Mixed Mode +100% (double)
CW +53%
Phone +33%
TOTAL +68%
