[UK-CONTEST] Short contest calls

Well, each to his own. I simply don't personalise callsigns in that way.
GM3ZBE is just a number to me, I would very quickly get used to another
call. (preferably a shorter one with no 'dit' on the end.....but that's
where we came in!

Jack G6BQ was my 'Elmer' and a major influence on me as a radio ham and
contester. His record in RSGB topband contests was unequalled. I would
be very unhappy to see someone acquire that callsign even if he were a
top contester, but imagine if his/her interest only ran to
shack-on-a-belt or Echolink....
