I could never get used to having put callsigns the wrong way round, as
in "This is XXXX putting it over to XXXX" Beeep
Actually I still have the little Alinco DR112 that I used to use for DX
Cluster, but never managed to work out all the buttons!
I kept it in case an aircraft from the local aerodrome crashed and we
needed emergency comms in the village, but then I wouldn't know if I was
on a repeater thingy or not. Like you say, all too much for me! It's
available for sale if anyone wants it
