Since charity begins at home, is there anyone here who still hasn't had 
his FT-1000 de-clicked?

Yaesu have consistently got this wrong, for model after model of the 
FT1K, so every FT-1000D, MP and MkV ever made NEEDS this little snip.

All FT1K owners have been let down about this, so it really isn't about 
naming and shaming any individuals. All that matters is that the mod 
gets done. So...

1. Go to www.w8ji.com
2. Pick the mod page for your model (older MPs use the MkV mod)
3. PLEASE do it.
