I cannot measure the rise/fall times, but I can tell you
that in the three rigs I have owned with this facility( two
of which I still have) that 6mS IS correct. 4mS is a bit
hard and 8mS is a bit mushy.  Rigs in question: TS870;
IC7400;IC756PRO3.
