[UK-CONTEST] 80M CC G3SJJ

What I noticed in particular during the ARRL is a large number of signals
with additional spurs on the signals often high and low of the main
frequency and also in the click department here were LN9Z, N0NI, F5IN and
sadly K9DX. As Ian has pointed out there is no excuse for not modifying your
Yaesu. The other ARRL experience that happened mainly from Russian or ex
Russian stations was jumping straight in on the frequency you have occupied
for maybe hours. I had that with UX2X and RX4HZ neither of whom worked many
USA after doing so but wasted a lot of there time.
Going back to the click problem for a moment, it has been highlighted
lately that most rigs that display a keying rise/fall time get that figure
wrong in that you need to set the figure higher in Millisecs to get the
correct timing. This factor appears to be
about twice. i.e. set it to 10ms for 5 or 6 ms. Has anyone looked into
this.
